Because of that, even though the mouth has the same level of demand, it does not get the supplies that it needs to maintain itself. Therefore, gum disease can happen earlier and more easily. Demineralization of the teeth can happen at a higher rate. Sometimes ladies get morning sickness, and if they are getting morning sickness repeatedly, those acids from the stomach are degenerating the teeth.
So, to at least be evaluated to see if there is any trouble on the horizon is really, really important when you are pregnant.
