McKeever Dental Care offers professional teeth whitening using custom fit trays for home use. We take impressions of the upper and lower teeth and we fabricate very soft trays that fit intimately with the patient’s teeth. In these trays a very small amount of whitening gel is placed and the patient wears the trays.
If the trays are worn during the day, after about two hours the trays have been depleted of the bleaching solution thanks to their saliva. Sometimes we have patients sleep with them. Usually in the sleep process, their salivary glands will turn off for the night and that way they get several days worth of bleaching in a one-night sleep.
Our patients get results and can regulate how far they want to go with their whitening with minimized any sensitivity.
